Help for the offline tuner, reference tones, custom tunings, microphone permission, and App Store review questions.

Confirm microphone permission is enabled in iOS Settings, move the phone closer to the instrument, and test in a quieter room.

Select the string or note first, then start Tone. The tone is generated locally on the device and does not use the microphone.

Check the active tuning preset, selected string, chromatic mode, capo setting, and A4 reference frequency in Settings.
