StringForge Privacy Policy
StringForge is designed as an offline tuner. It processes microphone audio live on your device to detect pitch and does not collect, store, or transmit that audio.

Information we collect
StringForge does not collect personal information. The app does not include user accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking SDKs, cloud sync, or third-party data collection services.
Microphone access
StringForge requests microphone permission so it can listen to your instrument and calculate pitch. Audio is processed live on the device. Microphone samples are not recorded, saved, uploaded, shared, or used to identify you.
Local app data
The app may save local preferences on your device, such as selected tuning presets, custom tunings, capo setting, display mode, and A4 reference frequency. This information stays on your device and is not sent to the developer.
Data sharing
- No personal data is collected by the developer.
- No audio is uploaded or shared.
- No data is sold.
- No data is used for tracking across apps or websites.
Children's privacy
StringForge does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
Changes to this policy
If StringForge's privacy practices change, this policy will be updated to describe those changes.
